In some fishing villages and ports, there are seafood markets where visitors can buy fresh seafood and cook them in the nearby restaurants as they like. These markets are the meeting places for foreigners as well as resort for Hong Kong residents on weekends and in holidays. Famous seafood markets are on Lei Yue Mun of Kowloon Tang, Kowloon West, Lamma Island and Lan Fau Mountain.
