Flat Peach Milk Cake

Flat Peach Milk Cake is a noted dish of the Yi nationality. Because it looks like the flat peach in shape, it gets its name. There are milk, shredded chicken, egg, spinach and ham in the cake. It has a high nutritional value. Its appearance is attractive. It’s crisp outside. It’s tender and delicious inside.

Jianshui Bird Nest Shortbread

Bird Nest Shortbread is a traditional noted snack in Yunnan. It has a history of over 100 years. It stems from Jianshui. It uses flour, lard and white sugar as raw materials. At first, mix flour with lard and use it as cover. Wrap some fillings and then compress it into an elongated cylinder. Knead it into the form that the top is small and the bottom is large with uniform thickness. Fry it in a frying pan until it becomes crisp. However, it remains white in color. Fish it out of the pan. Place it in a plate with its bottom up. Sprinkle it with white granulated sugar at last.  Bird Nest Shortbread looks like a bird’s nest in shape. There are some snowflakes at the bottom of the white neat. It looks beautiful. It’s fragrant and crisp. It melts the moment it’s put into the mouth. It’s a good food for young and old.

Grape Of Mile

Mile is the production base of the Red Plateau Wine in Yunnan. There are a great variety of grapes in Mile. They are all in good quality. Shredded Chicken Chaoya

 Chaoya is a unique vegetable in Jianshui in the south of Yunnan. Cut the end part of it for about four centimeters to remove its old root. Dip it in the clear water. Make chicken shred. In addition, add shredded chicken when Chaoyi is parboiled. When Chaoya is cooked to medium done, it’s the best time to pour it out from the pan and taste it.

Ganba Mushroom

Ganba Mushroom is a rare wild edible fungus. It’s peculiar to Yunnan. Its formal name is “Xiuqiu Mushroom”, “Duihua Mushroom” or” Maya Mushroom”. It grows in the mountain forest or the pine forest in the central Yunnan and the west of Yunnan. Although it’s black with a white surface, it’s extremely delicious. It’s an excellent breed among wild edible funguses. Ganba mushroom fried with green capsicum or egg is a fantastic dish.
