Ganba Mushroom is a rare wild edible fungus. It’s peculiar to Yunnan. Its formal name is “Xiuqiu Mushroom”, “Duihua Mushroom” or” Maya Mushroom”. It grows in the mountain forest or the pine forest in the central Yunnan and the west of Yunnan. Although it’s black with a white surface, it’s extremely delicious. It’s an excellent breed among wild edible funguses. Ganba mushroom fried with green capsicum or egg is a fantastic dish.
Shiping Litchi Shortbread
Shiping Litchi Shortbread is a noted snack in Shiping County in Yunnan Province.It’s small. It looks like litchi in shape and color. So it got the name. Mix dough and butter and make them into cover. Mix white sugar, lard, rose, sesame, tangerine peel, powered sugar and citron together. Use them as stuffing. Wrap the stuffing with the cover. Make it into the shape of the litchi. Finally put it into the hot oilbath and fry it until it turns golden in color.
Little Steamed Vermicelli Roll
Little Steamed Vermicelli Roll is a noted snack in Yunnan. Kaiyuan is located in the south of Yunnan. It has been the pivot of the Dianyue Raiway. In order to make a living, a lot of Vietnamese walked north along the railway and got to China in the past. They brought some methods of making snacks into the south of Yunnan. Local people constantly innovated in techniques. On the base of the Vietnamese snacks, Little Steamed Vermicelli Roll of Kaiyuan gradually formed what it's today.
