The Yilong Lake and Baoxiu Town in Shiping, Honghe

The Yilong Lake is full of lotuses. You can rent a boat and eat food made by local peasant. There is a temple in Baoxiu town. Although the temple doesn’t have a long history, it’s the predecessor of the Xiushan Temple in Tonghai. There are many ancient trees planted in the Tang or Song dynasties in the temple. They are all very well preserved. You can taste the authentic Baked Bean Curd, Cool Rice Noodle and Shiping fish in the center of the town.
