Railway Transport
Huainan is a large coal production city. It has established railway transportation network with the Jingjiu railway and Jinghu railway running through Huainan. There are 72 passenger transport trains stopping at the Huainan railway station every day. Now there is only one train starting from this station, which heads for Shanghai . The others are trains stopping by the station and have their corresponding time for stopping. Therefore, passengers have to enter the station in advance. You may take a bus route 5 in the urban areas to the railway station.

Highway
Huainan highway is in a good state. Highways such as Jingfu and Hexu run through Huainan. Now it has established a highway traffic network centering on arterial roads such as East Dongshan Road. Huainan new long-distance passenger transport station is a national first-class passenger transport center. There are 145 intra-provincial and inter-provincial shuffle routes. The inter-provincial shuffle coaches mostly run on a daily basis while the departure of the intra-provincial ones ranges from one to seventeen every day.
In urban areas, you may take bus route 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 24, 26, 30, 110, 121 and 210 to the Huainan Coach Station.

Urban Transport
Bus
Huainan City has many types of buses, such as tourist buses, link buses and urban buses. The bus routes reach as many as 25. It is very convenient and quick to take buses in the urban areas. The operating hours is from five o’clock in the morning to nine o’clock in the evening. The specific time is adjusted according to the distance.
Taxi
The starting fare of taxi is 5 yuan. If the distance exceeds three kilometers, the fare of Xiali is 1 yuan for each additional kilometer and that of Santana and Qirui, etc, is 1.2 yuan. The period from 11 o’clock at night to 5 o’clock in the next morning is the night drive time. The starting fare is 6 yuan. After the first three kilometers, the fart of Xiali is 1.2 yuan for each additional kilometer and that of such taxis as Santana is 1.4 yuan. Moreover, the passenger should pay for the waiting fee, bridge toll and road toll, etc.
