Small Royal Necropolis

It is called small royal necropolis, compared with the royal necropolis of Emperor Xian who was the father of Emperor Jiajing, Xian Mausoleum. The mausoleum faces the south, surrounded by hills in three directions. There is a vast area in front of the mausoleum and a 250-meter holy path from the south to the north. There is a pair of stone lions, stone goats, stone camels, stone horses and stone warriors on both sides of the holy path. Besides, there are 3 stone tablets, a pair of cloud pillars and a decorated archway. The tomb located in the highest area of the burial ground is 60 meters behind the decorated archway and its ruined building is 2.4 meters high and 192 meters in circumference. The entire distribution of the cemetery is uniform, strict, and symmetrical. The body gestures of carved stones are large, vivid and with delicate engraving. The son of the owner of the mausoleum, Lubing, and her husband, Lusong were both important offices in the Ming Dynasty and emperors trusted them deeply, so she had such a privilege.
