The China (Hubei/Wuhan) International Auto Industry Exhibition was launched in 1995. Until 2005, it has been successfully held six times. With the great help of Hubei Provincial People's Government, Wuhan Municipal People’s Government and some concerned departments, it makes great progress after careful cultivation of ten years. It’s 1500 exhibition booths in the last exhibition instead of over 240 exhibition booths in the first exhibition. More than 90 enterprises participated in the first exhibition, while more than 200 enterprises participated in the last exhibition. The area for exhibition is enlarged from 4,000 square meters in the first exhibition to 35,000 square meters in the last exhibition. The China International Auto Industry Exhibition has become a fairly professional, sweeping and influential auto exhibition in Central China. It will regularly be held every year since 2005.

A series of activities are held during the exhibition, such as, the Auto Industry Development Forum, the Auto Industry Item Outsourced Business Fair, the Service Car Purchase Festival, the Auto Cultural Festival, the Auto Professional Model Contest, the press conference for new car being on sale, the Enterprise Regional Supplier Meeting.
