The two national highways--- Beijing - Shenzhen (107) and Urumqi-Fuzhou (316) and the Beijing-Zhuhai highway which is under construction join in Xiaogan urban district, within which there are 214 arterial highways of province, municipality and county level that form a meridian-and-parallel net and connect every corner of the whole city. Therefore, the density of roads in Xiaogan tops any other city in Hubei province.
