The Yunwu Tea grows among the cloud and mist on the Yuntai Mountain all the year around, whence came the name. The best quality Yunwu Tea is made by the Wuzheng Buddhist Convent in Sucheng. It is featured by “tight and thin strip, brow shape, moist green color with apparent hair, straight and graceful tip, lasting fragrance, fresh and thick flavor, clear and bright soup and even leaf base”. It ranks with “Biluochun (Green Spring Snail) Tea” and “Yuhua (Rain Flower) Tea” as the three famous tea of Jiangsu Province.
