In the eastern part outside of Nanjing along the upper part of the Qin Huai River (the river that crosses the city from northwest to the south) and in the Hanzhongmen Street is Mochou Lake. With the beautiful nature scenery and the typical architectures, it became a pearl of Nanjing, attracting millions of tourists every year.
Mochou Lake is the typical garden of Ming Dynasty with the reputation during six dynasties. The unique towers, pavilions, corridors and wonderful lake, mountains, plants, fishes, rafts make the scenery dream-like.
As its name implies, the Mochou Lake Park is covered mainly by water with the total 900 acres. So the entertainments connecting with water are so popular, like dragon boats, gaily-painted pleasure boat, sailing boat, etc. Besides, the entertainments in land such as Children pleasure park, shooting, are also attractive.
