Nanjing is one of the biggest key road nets in the east of the China. Center in Nanjing, six expressways such as Huning, Ninlian, Ningtong, etc. radiate to it and the surrounding areas in Anhui Province, Zhejiang Province and Shanghai . There are altogether 9 distance passenger stations, among which Nanjing (Zhongyangmen) Distance Passenger Station is the most important one in Nanjing serving the most travelers. Nanjing-Shanghai Express buses leave for five cities along the Nanjing-Shanghai rute from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily with an interval of twenty or thirty minutes.
