Rugao craftwork silk blanket has developed from the traditional square, round and rectangular blankets to a wider variety including triangle, polygon, wave like and even non-shape blankets, from the traditional single cover silk blanket to double cover silk blanket, from the traditional handcraft soft nap planting to comprehensive application of new techniques like plaiting, twining, kinking, hauling, hooking and so on.

At present, there is more than 1,000 styles of more than ten series included in the three major categories in the factory: carpet, tapestry and double cover screen.
