Built in the 23rd year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty(1684), it was called Qianlong Temporary Imperial Palace just because Qianlong accommodated here three times in order to offer sacrifices to gods. Qianlong Temporary Imperial Palace is a set of groups of ancient buildings well-kept in Jiangsu province. Covering a total area of more than 2 hectares, the magnificent palace consists of 20 pavilions, terraces and towers. It faces south and has symmetric layout. In front of the gate are a couple of stone lions. Entering into the yard, there is a Xian Palace with Bell Tower and Drum Tower standing on right side and left side respectively. To the north is Imperial Tablet Pavilion with 11 meters high, also called Huangshan Pavilion by local people. It was designed exquisitely with a unique shape. Customize a China Tour
