Nanjing-Xuzhou highway, Xuzhou-Kuaian highway and Suqian-Lianyungang highway run across the city. Only one long-distance Passenger Transport Bus Station is available in Suqian, that is Suqian Passenger Transport General Company.

The Great Canal passes through the whole city from north to south. The channel of Suqian section is the best navigable channel.

Bus：

With 15 bus routes in all, Suqian has an advanced public bus system. The bus ticket is RMB1 per person.

Taxi：

Suqian city proper is not very big, so it is cheap to take taxi touring around the city. Starting price is RMB5 (3 kilometers) by Xiali, RMB3 (2 kilometers) by minivan taxi. In general, RMB5 is needed to tour around the city.
