Wuxi City has the Shuofang airport, an internal civil airport, which can satisfy the air transport between Wuxi City and other large cities of the country. At the same time, owing to the developed and convenient highway traffic arteries between Wuxi and Shanghai , Nanjing and C Hangzhou , Wuxi can strengthen the international connections with the aid of the international aviation resources of Shanghai and Nanjing.

The passenger transport service center of Wuxi City, located on the east side of the Wuxi railway station square, has hourly commuter buses heading for the Hongqiao airport and Pudong airport of Shanghai City every day from 6:30am till 5:30pm. The international aviation service of Yixing City, located at No. 55 Tongzhenguan Road of Yixing, has commuter buses heading for the Lukou airport of Nanjing City at 7:00am and 10:30am.
