 Highways

Wuxi is an important highway junction of Jiangsu Province. It has the main arterial roads, such as Jiang-Hu ( Beijing - Shanghai ), Hu-Ning (Shanghai- Nanjing ), Xi-cheng (Wuxi-Jiangyin), Xi-Yi (Wuxi-Yixing), Ning-Hang (Ningbo- Hangzhou ), the highway along the Yangtze River , the country road 312 and the country road 104. It is a highway junction between Beijing and Shanghai, between Tongjiang and Sanya , and between Shanghai and Chengdu .

Wuxi has several coach stations, which connect Wuxi City with cities and counties inside and outside the Jiangsu Province, making the traffic between Wuxi and other provinces of the country extremely smooth. The passenger transport service center of Wuxi City, located on the east side of the Wuxi railway station square, has commuter buses heading for the Hongqiao airport, Pudong airport, Changzhou City, Suzhou City, Changshu City, Zhangjiagang City, Yixing City, Huashi Town, and Zhouzhuang Town, etc.
