Xuzhou Guanyin Airport is 42kilometers southeast of the city, located in Shuanggou Town, Suining County. The regional airport serves flights to some major cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing and Guangzhou. There is a shuttle bus running between the airport and the downtown area and you can take the bus at the ticket office which located on No.199, West Huaihai Road, or Xuzhou Restaurant on No.201, East Huaihai Road.

 Road

There are three main bus terminals in Xuzhou:

Xuzhou Coach Station is on No.1 East Qingnian Road, located to the south of the train station. The long distance coaches often depart here and are set to other places around the country. The telephone number is 0516-3724118.

Xuzhou central bus station is located in the downtown area near the Gupeng Square to the north on No.29 North Zhongshan Road. This station is mainly responsible for the coaches to the suburb areas and the hinterland of Northern Jiangsu Province. The contact telephone number is 0516-5744294.

Xuzhou west station of passage transportation is located on the west crossing of the third loop of west Huaihai Road. You can get there by taking No.1 Bus. The coaches are set to the border areas in Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui Province, just like the cities of Shangqiu, Linyi and Huaibei. There’re also some shuttle buses to Peixian, Fengxian Counties and Datun coal mine area. You can call for further information. The telephone number is 0516-5753321.

City Transportation

The No.1 tour bus (Han Dynasty Culture tour line) and No.2 tour bus (Yunlong District tour line) in front of the train station almost link all the historic spots and scenic districts in Xuzhou together. In Xuzhou, the starting rate of the taxi is 5 Yuan for the first 3 kilometers and it's usually about 1.40 Yuan per kilometer afterwards. The city public bus costs you 1 Yuan usually and the luxury bus with air-condition costs 2 Yuan everytime.
