WaterwayThe world famous “golden watercourse”, the Yangtze River , and the Jing-Hang Grand Canal intersects here. It also has three steam ferries on the Yangtze River, six watergates, nine highway junctions connected with each other and nine harbors with a capacity of more than one hundred thousand tons. Zhenjiang has an international open harbor. Now it has built 139 berths, of which 20 berths are above the level of ten thousand tons. The largest one is capable of mooring fifty thousand ton level watercrafts. The Zhenjiang harbor is the third largest harbors along the Yangtze River and one of the national key junction harbors.
