Including the historical porcelain museum and the ancient cluster of kilns, the total exhibition area covers 830,000 square meters. The rich foliage of trees, the beautiful environment, and the reflection in the water makes a pleasant scene to the eye. It is a perfect combination of human culture and natural scenery, and it brings out the best from each other.

The historical museum in the exhibition area is made up of the cluster of buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. The buildings used to be the disorderly ancient porcelain workshops, the ancient kilns and the ancient buildings. Now the government has worked out a plan to protect them and put all of them into the exhibition area, which effectively solves the conflictions of the protection of relics and the construction of modern cities.

The two clusters of Ming and Qing buildings were respectively named "Ming Alley" and "Qing Garden". "Wangbo House" in the "Ming Alley" used to be the house of Wangbo—an ambassador in the Guangdong Province. The house typically represents private house of "Hui School" in the Ming Dynasty, and the "KuCai Public House" is a three-story building in the Ming Dynasty. "Yu Tang Room" is the memorial hall for the ancestor of a clan of the Qing Dynasty; "Grand Master's Mansion" is for the successful candidates in the highest imperial examination of Qing Dynasty. Both the "Yu Tang Room" and "Grand Mater's Mansion" in the "Qing Garden" are representatives of the building styles in Qing Dynasty.

There are various porcelains on show in the museum, such as porcelains of different historical times, historical data of porcelains, and precious ancient paintings and calligraphies. Most of them are fine works of art and unparalleled excellent works.
