Surrounded by hills on three sides, Tiantang Lake, covering a land of 1,050 acres, has a storage capacity of 12,000,000 sq km. The other side is a belt-shaped dam, which is 20 meters high and more than 140 meters long. In the lake is a small island, on which the trees grow thickly and exuberantly. In addition, there are two rolling green hills, called Yehe Hill on its right and left sides.

So far, many featured modern buildings have been constructed around Tiantang Lake like Deyue Mansion, Baili Holliday Villa, Tiantang Lake Mountain Resort etc.. These buildings situate among green hills and blue waters, which add more charm to Tiantang Lake.
