The Jiaozuo people call persimmon tree loyal corp. In autumn, the hill is red; they are persimmon trees standing on it. In making dried persimmon, firstly, using a knife especially for peeling the skin of persimmon to get rid of their skins, and then dry it until it is half dried. Finally, put them in a large jar and seal up the mouth with mud. Days later, persimmons become dried persimmons covered with a layer of frost. There are differences between Jiaozuo dried persimmon and dried persimmon in other places. They are drier, smaller in size, and less likely to be rotten. Cutting it and looking at the transverse section, we can see the heart is empty with crackles around it. Thus, people called it chrysanthemum heart. It can be used in making pastries.
