Jiayuguan walking street is situated in the center of downtown in the south of the city.  The street is filled with different kinds of stores. There are a variety of goods that can be purchased, most are very popular with the Chinese as well as foreign visitors. The well-known specialties here include Yeguan Cup (Night Glittering Cup), rubbings of Wei and Jin tomb murals, stone carvings and assorted carpets.
