Gelanyang is produced in Taoshan Village, Paotai Town. It’s a kind of kale. Its leaf takes on the form of a horse’s ear. The Gelanyang planted in the field of the “Red Gate Tower” is authentic in the top grade. When it’s quick-fried with fierce fire, it’s green and crisp, sending forth a delicate fragrance. It’s really a good dish. When many overseas Chinese who live in Southeast Asia return home to visit their relatives, the dish they hope to taste most is Gelanyang. It shows the attraction of Gelanyang.
