Located in Ji’an, a border city in the southeastern Jinlin Province, the tourist attraction overlooks North Korea, and looks like a green tie between Yunfeng Lake and water conservancy in Tiger Col, contributing a charming landscape.
The terrain here is unique. It witnesses a beautiful landscape belt in Yalv River valley looked as if in South of Yangtze River , and imposing waves, magnificent and perilous fault delta surfaces, granite cliffs of queer shaped stones, peaks, alluvial flats, numerous islands in the river, etc. Guodong Huge Eroded Caves Group and the perilous cliffs illustrate a magnificent land form of erosion mountain carved rudely by the nature.
In the scenic spot, there are Wandu Mountain City, the largest site of ancient city left by Goguryeo, Domestic City, the political, economical and cultural center of Goguryeo for 425 years, Gwanggaeto Stele，the largest natural virtue stele. You’ll experience the profoundity and the changes of the history and cultural Goguyeo has undergone.
