Situated in the east of Ji’an city, 40km away in the upper reaches of Ylv River, it cnsists of Yunfeng Power Plant, known as ‘Pearl of Border River’, Yunfeng Dam, the symbol of the friendship between China and North Korea, and a man-made lake, blocked by the dam, 218.5m high and 102.5km2 large.
Mountains tower up grandly along the Yunfeng Lake. Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is on the other side of the lake. Aside from the dam and plant, there are many natural and artificial scenic spots, as well, such as steel tower with silver electrical lines ， grand mountains with cascade, serene stone caves, iron bridge, clouds overlooking the water, and constructions, iron bridges, garden-style street built during the period of Japan and Puppet Army Times.
