Introduction to the scenic spot

Qilian River Channel Natural Ecological Scenic Tourist Section integrates forests, plains and glacier and there are human scenic spots and natural spots like Lixuan Site, Toad Spring, Iron Frying Platform and Zhaozi Low-lying on the way. There is a great disparity in terms of drop in level and the altitude is in the range of 2000 to 3000 meters and the climate is obvious in change both horizontally and perpendicularly. The forests contain rich wildlife resources and there are five kinds of arbor trees, more than 10 kinds of shrubbery trees, about 100 herbage plants and nearly 100 animals among which about ten including red deer, wood muntjac, roe, burhel and snow cock are the second or third protected animals.
