Convenient transportation: The Tai-Jiao (Taiyuan-Jiaozuo) railway which is the main transportation artery connecting Tong-Pu (Datong-Puzhou) railway, Shi-Tai (Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan) railway and Jing-Guang (Beijing-Guangzhou) railway goes through the city. Main highway include the Taiyuan-Dakou highway running through the north to the south, the Yvmenkou-Xiaopingshan (in Lingchuan) highway and Qinshui-Jincheng highway which go through the east to the west.

No airport. But it only takes 1 hour by car to Zhen Zhou Airport or Luoyang Airport. You can book tickets at:

Railways

The Tai-Jiao (Taiyuan-Jiaozuo) railway which is the main transportation artery connecting Tong-Pu (Datong-Puzhou) railway, Shi-Tai (Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan) railway and Jing-Guang ( Beijing - Guangzhou ) railway goes through the city. Highways

Main highway include the Taiyuan-Dakou highway running through the north to the south, the Yvmenkou-Xiaopingshan (in Lingchuan) highway and Qinshui-Jincheng highway which go through the east to the west. Tourists can get to most of the major cities in China by bus from Jincheng.

Municipal transportation

Buses:

Bus No1 to No5 runs from 7:00 to 19:00 under summer timetable and from 7:00 to 18:00 for winter. No7 ,No9, No19, No25 runs from 7:00 to 18:00 all the year round.No30 to No32 runs from 7:00 to 19:00 for summer timetable and from 7:30 to 19:00 for winter. For different routes, the buses run at a interval of 10 to 30 minutes respectively.
