Brief introduction to the scenic spot:

The Eight-Diagram Village was the residence for Zhuge Liang’s descendents, who was the famous prime minister in Han Kingdom during the period of the Three Kingdoms (220-280). It is located at the west of Gaolong village, Lanxi city, with a population of 3,000. Among them, there are 2,700 people with their first name-Zhuge. That’s why the village named the Zhuge Village.

The whole village is an ancient architecture with Ming and Qing style, characterized in the science of “Ying-yang and Eight-Diagram”. According to, in the middle period of Yuan Dynasty (1206-1368), Zhuge Dashi, the 28th generation of Zhuge Liang, together with his two grandsons, settled down at this village, which was called “Gaolong” at that time. Since the Zhuge family chose this mysterious fortune land as their residence, the whole family developed larger and larger.

How to get there:

Get off at Lanxi railway station by train, then transfer to take Route one or Route Eight bus to Lanxi bus station, finally take a direct bus to the Zhuge Village. It costs 3.5 RMB one person and takes 45 minutes to get there.
