It was difficult for visitors to get to the park . But now there are direct bus and flights to Jiuzhaigou.  Bus trip from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou takes 10 hours or so. Flights to Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou only need 45 minutes. The scenic area of Jiuzhaigou is 42 kilometers from the county and 88 kilometers from the Jiuzhaigou airport.

Airline

It takes about 40 minutes  from Chengdu to Jiuhuang Airport by plane. The park is about  88 kilometers from the airport. There are airport shuttle buses between the airport and park.

Highway

Jiuzhaigou is about 420 kilometes away from Chengdu . Bus trip from Chengdu takes about 10 hours. 10 hours' journey on a bumping mountainous road may not be a comfortable journey for those who tend to be bus sichness. So take the flight is the best choice.
