Diyilou Restaurant, the name of which actually means No 1 restaurant in Chinese, has a long history of over 80 years. It is situated in the downtown area of Kaifeng city and is one of the most popular restaurants in this city. It is very famous for its local dumplings.

The history of Kaifeng dumplings can be traced back as early as the Northern Song Dynasty over one thousand years ago. It is made with specially and carefully selected materials, such as thin cover, fresh stuff, delicious soup inside and so on. Actually there are many different kinds of dumplings here with different stuffs inside, such as meat, mutton, beef, as well as various vegetables. You can choose what flavor you like.
