Lanzhou Entertainment

Visitors may find various entertainments in Lanzhou. For hundreds of years, cultures from the Yellow River and the Silk Road have been deposited here, thus a culture with the mixture of both are the features here. Today, there are 16 organizations of Qing Opera, Long Opera, Yu Opera, and Pekin Opera and 14 threaters in the city. The commone people in the community sometimes also make performances of their own. If you are interested in it, you may try to sing the opera by yourself in the Jingcheng Garden. Lanzhou is also famous for the Peace Drum Dance during the festival occassions. Visitors will never miss it.
