Bell jujube, Liaocheng

Bell jujube, which is also called red dates or Chinese date, is a historic product of Liaocheng City. The growing area is around Boping Town of Chiping County. The content of Vitamin C in fresh jujube is the most among all the fruits. The bell jujube is large in shape and sweet in taste. It is not only a precious arbor foodstuff, but also nourishing tonic. It can be eaten either raw or processed, such as dry and smoke.
