Brief Introduction:

Water Cave was formed when water infiltrated limestone millions of years ago. The mouth of the cave faces the north like a half-moon, inscribed “Benxi Water Cave” on the top of the mouth.

Entering the cave, you can find a hall with over 20 meters width and over 20 meters height named “welcome guests hall” which houses more than one thousand people. The hall is full of power and grandeur. On the right of the hall, there is a 100-meter dry cave. Along the dry cave, small caves are scattered here and there, winding and complicated. There are also some scenic spots, such as, Ancient Well, Dragon Pool, 100-Step Pool, etc. The charming scenery lets people loosen their imaginations and enjoy it and forget to go home. The front of the hall opens onto the dock in the Water Cave. The water surface is over 10 square meters, the reflections of the stones, yachts and the colorful lighting make people feel like going to a fairyland.

The underground river is totally 2800 meters, with an area of 36,000 square meters and a volume of 400.000 cubic meters. The river is winding. And it is as clean as to see the bottom of the river. So it is called Nine Turings the Milky River. There are stalagmites standing in great numbers, grotesque in shaped and gaudy in colour, omniform on both sides of the river. Along the river there are over 60 scenic spots with their own features. The newly-exploited scenic spots “Yuantoukaidi” and “Yunv Palace” are mysterious and different. The air in the cave is flowing freely and stays at 10℃ temperature all year round. Outside of the Cave, an ancient corridor winds along the mountain with a special man-made lake and old pavilions form a beautiful picture. Boating in the lake, tourists can enjoy this fascinating scenery.
