As the largest hub of transportation and communication in northeast China, Shenyang has established a modern network of transportation. Airline, railway, expressway and taxies are all available here. Besides, On September 30, 2010, the first subway of northeastern China, Subway Line 1 opened in Shenyang City of Liaoning Province. Subway 1 is 28 kilometers long with 22 stops and the ticket price is from  2 to 4 yuan depending on the distance.
