Taxi

There are 4,100 taxis in Tieling, of which Santana,Kia, Suzuki, Xiali and Jetta take the major part at present.

It costs RMB5 to take a taxi within 4 kilometers; RMB1 per 800 meters is the counting unit when a taxi runs beyond 4 kilometers; and it would charge RMB1, a taxi stopping to wait for 4 minutes each time. The price for each kilometer is pasted on the window and it might vary when it runs at night or with one passenger in.

Public bus

Public bus, once in 5-9 minutes, with nice bus stops and moderate speed, can be the most convenient transportation means in the town.
