As one of the most important cities in southern China, Liuzhou is the transportation hub in the south, southwest and southeast Asia, known as “Gui commercial port”. At present, Liuzhou’s transportation condition has changed greatly and has become mature, such as highways, airline, railway and waterway. It is convenient to many other places due to the convenient transportation system.
Liuzhou Bailian Airport is located in the southern suburb of Liuzhou city. Covering an area more than 400 square kilometers, apart from Boeing 747, Bailian Airport is capable for all medium passenger planes to take off and land. The apron can park five medium-sized passenger aircraft at the same time. Terminal construction area is 7376 square meters, with handling capacity of 600 passengers at peak hour. There is regular bus from the airport to the downtown Liuzhou, bus No.21 runs from 7:00 in the morning to 18:00 in the evening with bus pulling out for every half an hour, which takes about 30 minutes and costs 1.8 yuan per person. Besides, you can also take airport bus at the ticket office of China Transportation Building 1 hour and 50 minutes before the plane taking off for 15 yuan, or passengers can take airport bus at the ticket office of Guotai Building 1 hour and 40 minutes before the plane taking off for only 10 yuan. Passengers can also take taxies next to Fish Peak Hill to downtown Liuzhou for 19 kilometers.
Liuzhou is the only non-capital city Railway Bureau station, and one of the 44 large comprehensive railway stations in southwest China. There are four railway stations in Liuzhou city, namely, Liuzhou Station, Liuzhou North Station, Liuzhou South Station and Liuzhou East Station. As the most important hinge of railway transportation in Guangxi, Hunan-Guangxi line, Guizhou-Guangxi line and Jiaozuo-Liuzhou line interchange here; and there are inter-city train lines commuting among Nanning, Liuzhou and Guilin. There are more than 20 trains from Liuzhou to Nanning everyday. There are 5 T-level trains, T8725 departs at 15:50 and arrives at 19:10, costs for 40.5 RMB. T81 departs at 13:19 and arrives at 16:40, T8721 departs at Guilin and passes Liuzhou at 16:26 and arrives at Nanning at 19:50. Only T189 departs in the evening.
There are many buses pass Liuzhou Railway Station, such as bus No.2, No.5, No.7, No.11, No.14, No16, No.24, No.27, No.29, No.32, No.33, No.35, No.40 and No.99 etc. offers easy access to the Railway Station.
As the transportation center of southern China, Liuzhou has highways extending in all direction. No.209 National Highway, Nanning-Liuzhou Highway, Guilin-Liuzhou Highway, Yizhou-Liuzhou Highway run throughout the whole city, which forms very convenient highway transportation. In Nanning-Liuzhou Highway, Guilin-Liuzhou Highway, there will be one bus pulling out every 15 to 20 minutes from 7:00 to 22:00 every day. Besides Railway, highway occupies an important position in the transportation of Liuzhou. There are four main long-distance bus stations in Liuzhou City, Long-distance Bus South Station, Baisha Passenger Station, Guolian Logistics Center and Long-distance Bus Master Station. Among which, Long-distance Bus Master Station is located in No.3, Wenbi Road, where there are buses from Liuzhou to all direction of southwest China, such as buses to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuxi, Foshan, Shantou, Shaoguan, Xuzhou, Nanjing etc.

However, the passenger station wharf of Liuzhou harbor is the main passenger port.
