Yushan Lake

Brief introduction:

Lying in the center of Maanshan city, Yushan Lake, also named Wawa Pond, covers a water area of 1987 mu. On both eastern and western side of the lake stand two hills, forming a landscape of lakes and mountains. Surrounded with plants and high buildings, the lake area becomes an urban scenic spot.  In 1959, the lake area was opened up as a garden.

Yushan Lake Garden is composed of north garden, south garden, west garden, Zoo and island. Because there are nine hills far and near the lake, therefore, the lake is well-known as a lake surrounded by nine hills. Nowadays, the lake is circled with roads, trees and high buildings. The lake area has become an ideal place for sightseeing and entertainment.
