You must have heard of the horse racing or bull racing, but do you know anything about dog racing? This sport was introduced into Macau in 1960 and has now become a firm rival to the horse races. Dog races will be held every week on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at the dog track of Canidrome (Macau), which is located at Avenida General Castelo Branco. There are about 15 races on every racing night starting from 7:30PM. Admission is MOP$10 for the public stand. You can take public buses No. 1, 1A, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 9A, 23, 25, 26, 26A, 32, 33 and 34 to get to Canidrome (Macau). Besides watching the races, you can also bet on them. The betting method is much like that of the horse races, you can find the betting stations not only in Canidrome, but also outside Canidrome in the places like Hotel Lisboa and New Jai Alai.
