The Macao Grand Prix Museum, built in 1933 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Grand Prix Racing in Macao, is located in the Tourism Activity Center on Rua Luis Gonzaga Gomes.

With a history of over 60 years dating from 1954, the Museum has become a Mecca for Formula 1 enthusiasts. In addition to its vast collections of exhibits like photographs, trophies and memorabilia, the Museum has a fine selection of over twenty racing cars driven once by world-famous car racers like Eduarfo de Carvalho, Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard…etc. Aryton Senna’s racing car taking the center-stage of the exhibition hall is the star attraction of them all. The red-and-white Formula 3 racing car is on display alongside with Aryton Senna’s racing uniforms and helmets. Aryton Senna, a famous formula car racer, died at the 1994 San Mario Grand Prix.

The museum’s projectors offer visitors a visual history and scenes of the breathtaking Grand Prix motor racings in Macau and other countries. The museum has also provided two racing car simulators for visitors to have some hands-on experience of the racing tracks at a great speed.
