Penang Hill, also called Flagstaff Hill, is the highest place in Penang with an elevation of 830 meters. The weather is cool and pleasant there. You can take a cable car to the top of the hill to enjoy the panoramic view of Penang, and you can also watch the ships and ferries sailing on the Straits of Malacca and the far-away Malaysia Peninsula. It is an important tourist attraction of Penang with sightseeing and leisure facilities available on the top of the hill. The vast and blue ocean and the verdant peninsula look beautiful and harmonious together. The lights of Penang and those on the ships look beautiful at night. There are restaurants on the top of the hill, where tourists can have a rest after sightseeing.
