Redang Island

Redang Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Malaysia. It is about 50 kilometers away from Kuala Terengganu port. The surrounding sea water is crystal and the white beaches look like a vast area of forests. This is a diving paradise on the sunny day. There are many stunningly beautiful coral reefs there available for enjoying. The underwater world of Redang Island is lively and colorful, and in some places you can enjoy lots of marine creatures floating on the sea surface.

Many recreational activities are provided on Redang Island, such as swimming, diving, snorkeling, and jungle hiking. As for accommodation, there is a wide range of choices from simple camping facilities to luxurious resorts. The island has been designated as a marine protected area by the government. Tourists have an opportunity to watch the exhibitions and listen to introductions about corals and seabed creatures. Angling or fishing is strictly forbidden within 3.2 kilometers of the diameter of the island.
