The opera is quite popular in Nanping area and it comes from Tan reed canzonet. The melody can be classified as major key and minor key. It takes the eight rhymes in local classical opera in South China as the basic melody, and being affected by the southern Kunqu opera at the same time. Till now, melody brands as sobbing face returning, playing kids, a branch of flower and general’s order are kept down.
