Zhenping Roast Chicken

Zhenping Roast Chicken is also named Zhengping Houshi Roast Chicken. The roast chicken has fresh color and luster, fragrant skin and very tender meat which is fat but not oily. Hou Xishan is its contriver whose ancestral home is Linyi City, Shandong Province. In 1928, he learned to roast chicken from the famous teacher in Dezhou. In 1942, he together with his wife and sons moved to Zhengping, and then went on with cooking roast chicken and sold it. Henceforth, Houshi Roast Chicken had the high reputation and never declined.
