Newsletter -Tibetan New Year 2010

Tibetan New year, also known as Losar, is the most important festival in the Tibetan calendar. It is celebrated over a period of 2 weeks, generally during the months of December and January. The upcoming 2010 Tibetan New Year, will take place on Februrary 14th, the same day as Chinese New Year 2010. There will be a lot of activities held in the streets of Lhasa. In this issue of the newsletter, we will introduce you to 2010 Tibetan New Year, providing you with information on Tibetan New Year, its traditions, special events in Tibet.
