Passing through Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Baotou-Lanxin railway runs via new city of Yinchuan from south to north. It reaches Baotou, an important town in North China in the east, and is connected with Beijing -Baotou railway, and reaches Lanzhou , a city in northwest China in the west, meeting three railways there—Lanxin, Lanqing, Longhai. There are nonstop Train s starting from Yinchuan to many cities, such as Beijing, Lanzhou, Hohhot, Baotou, Datong, Zhangjiakou, and Qingtongxia.
