 As one of the original plants surviving, Carragheen moss, growing in the mosses of forest region of Qinghai of 3000 meters altitude with a wide distribution, got the name because its shape is much similar to racks. Local Naoshan people pick Carragheen moss in the wild field in leisure time in May, and cook it into cold dish or into soup or fry for eating, which is entitled as rarity in snowy land for its crispness.
