Henbane, called "Henbane marsh" in Tibetan language, of the genera Solanum, biennial herbs, distributes in Tibetan autonomous state such as Haidong Region and Hainan , Huangnan, Haibei, growing on the slopes, by the woods or roadside of 1700 to 2600-meter altitude. The seeds of henbane are poisonous but used as medicine for convulsion-relieving, pain-killing, pacifying. Besides, Tibetan doctors use it to cure nasal eczema, syphilis, neural paralysis in the head, decayed tooth, and so on.
