I will be in Shanghai tomorrow for only one day's trip, and it would be my first time there. I'm planning to take a tour beginning from the railway station to Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Waitan (the bund), People's Square, and then I would like to take the light rail and magnetic suspension train. So do you guys have any good idea for me to arrange my trip. How can I make my one-day tour in Shanghai more interesting? Thx!!!

The attractions you chose are all located along the subway lines, it would be convenient for you to travel from place to place. From Shanghai Railway Station, you can take subway Line No.1 to People''s Square or Nanjing Road Walking Street, from where you can also take Line No.2 to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Pudong. If you''d like to take the magnetic suspension train, you can get off Line No.2 on the stop of Science Museum.
Subway Line No.3 would be what you called "Light Rail", which is running above on the ground, so you can have a view of the streetscapes of the city by taking Line No.3.
After your trip, you can take Line No.1 back to the raiway station and go back home, hope you enjoy your trip.
