Hello, I would like to travel to China in October. I would like to include in the tour Beihai. The Silver Beach in Beihai is said to be the First Beach under Heaven. Is it true? Is Beihai worthy of a tour? Thank you !

You will not dissapointed as it is so beautiful. You also can tour the nearby places. Guilin is not faraway.

Yes, I would definitely recommend you tour Beihai when you have chance visiting China. Beihai is a coastal city in south China near Vietnam. With long and flat beaches, white and soft sands in the beaches and no sharks in its seas, Beihai’s beaches are known as the best beaches in south China and people call it the Silver Beach.
The weather is warm in Beihai even in autumn and winter. There are several small islands in Beihai and the Weizhou Island is prized as the most beautiful small island in China by China National Geographic magazine.

Yes, It is worthy to go. My family just got back from there today. Nice beach, clean water, cool wind and tasty and inexpensive sea food.

Hi, Smilecathy, I have been to Beihai in April. It is really a place worth travel. Besides the Silver Beach, Weizhou Island is also the must-see in Beihai. It is the biggest extinct volcanic island in China, located 36 sea miles off the Silver Beach, with an area of 25 square kilometers, which is also called "Great Penglai" (Penglai is a legendary fairy island in the East China Sea.).

You are welcome! Here are some travel tips(1).It is great fun to play volleyball, football and go-kart on the beach. Besides, water sports like sailing boats and waterborne bungee are amusing too. For diving, one can have a view of beautiful coral and marvelous undersea world. Diving is usually accompanied by a professional coach with a charge of 150 Yuan. You are not suggested to take a private motor boating in case of danger or racketeering. Don’t go to so-called Lover Island. Don’t go swimming too far away from the shore or without lifeguard around. It is easy to get burnt in summer, so a fresh water shower is recommended after a sea bath. (2).A rented umbrella charges 20 Yuan, a double rent 10 Yuan per hour and motor boat 5-8 Yuan per minute. Wish you a good trip!

Hi, Smilecathy, welcome to China. Beihai Silver Beach is really beautiful and worth traveling: long beach, white and fine sand, warm and clean water, gentle waves as well as being safe and free from sharks in swimming area, therefore, it wins a reputation as the best beach in China. Never miss it if you come to China.
