hello, what fruits are in season now in Beijing & Tianjin area? Also, what are good to buy. I'm going to Beijing/Tianjin for 2 weeks this weekend. Please recommend nice food place too. Thank you.

- I just came back from Beijing and I really enjoyed the genuine Islamic food and snacks of Niujie Street (牛街） which is located at Xuanwu district.

- If you are in Beijing, must try the famous Peking Roast Duck. I have tried a nice restaurant on beef hotpot. Its nice too.

- If you like conjee, I recommende Hundred Conjee which has tens of branch stores in Beijing. Its main office is located at 1st floor of Boning Garden, 6# Zaoying Beili, Chaoyang district.It serves hundreds kinds of conjee and Beijing local snacks. It does business around the clock(24 hours a day). The environment is agreeable and comparatively quite.

- Strawberry, pineapple, cherry and mango are the fruits in season in Beijing and tianjin. They all can be found in supermarkets and open-air markets. Many Beijing local snacks can be found in Qianmen Street (the renovation of which was just finished during 2008 Beijing Olympic Games).The Laoshe Teahouse is recommended where visitors can not only drink the genuine famous Chinese tea, taste the delicious Beijing food, but also can admiring the pure Peking Opera and traditional Chinese drama. I don''t like the snacks and food in Wangfujin Street, which are not tasted but more expensive than those of other places. Wish you a good trip!
